The castle’s origins date back to the 9th century, and it has remained in the hands of the Machiavelli family, with the current descendant, Rangoni Machiavelli, personally overseeing its restoration. There are 14 apartments, each accommodating between 2 and 6 guests. Furnished in authentic rustic Tuscan style, they feature terracotta floors and exposed wooden beam ceilings, offering both charm and comfort. Each apartment includes a bathroom with a spa bath or shower, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Additionally, the farmhouse offers Villa Il Poggio, which accommodates up to 12 guests. The total number of beds accommodates 44 guests, with an additional 22 guests accommodated on sofa beds.

RECEPTION: The Romanesque church of Santa Maria a Bibbione, located in the village at the foot of the castle, provides an intimate and sacred setting for traditional Catholic weddings. For couples desiring a personalized, non-religious ceremony, the castle offers stunning venues like the panoramic terrace overlooking the Chianti hills or the elegant courtyard with its loggia. The maximum number of guests for a wedding is 150.
ENTERTAINMENT: Music is allowed until 1:00am. Fireworks are not permitted.
