Private Medicean Villa

On the Florentine hills, 20 minutes from Florence city center and 21 kilometers from Florence airport.

This venue is a very important Medici villa immersed in the most typical Tuscan countryside with rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves all around. The villa is quite austere on the outside but offers richly decorated rooms with important Renaissance frescoes and stuccoes that date back to the XVI century and are still perfectly intact. For its large spaces indoors and outdoors, this one-day rental villa is particularly suitable for large events.

The villa has splendid gardens that encompass a delightful panoramic garden with a pond and an Italian garden.

The ceremony (blessing only) is generally held outdoors, either in the panoramic garden or in the more secluded area of villa’s wooded garden’s area that feels intimate and protected.

Wedding Reception

Due to the spaciousness of this venue, there are several possibilities where to stage the seated dinner indoors or outdoors. The dinner can be set up outdoors for as many as 500 guests and indoors, in the lavishly decorated gallery for up to 200 guests. Beyond the gallery, there is a series of interconnected rooms and halls that can be used for an indoor party with up to 350 -400 guests.
